Important information from the University of Sussex

Congratulations on getting an offer from Sussex. We hope that you are seriously considering our offer of a place.

If you choose Sussex as your firm (or first) choice you are guaranteed a place in University-managed housing, as long as you apply for housing by the 1st August 2012.

If you accept Sussex as your insurance choice then I am afraid you are unlikely to get a place in University managed housing. You should still apply if you would want university-managed accommodation, and then, if you are placed here in the summer, you can be added to the housing waiting list. I am afraid, however, that we can only guarantee housing for those who put Sussex as their firm/first choice.

Apply now for housing

The easiest way to apply for housing is online at www.sussex.ac.uk/sussexunihousing. You will need your UCAS Personal ID to access the online application and a code, which you can obtain by clicking 'get code' on the housing application log-in box following which your code will be emailed to you.

You will find it helpful to have the housing guide and our residential web-pages open when you complete the online housing application.
